Thursday, we were able to spend the morning with our pal, Nolan, while his mommy had a few doctor's appointments. Nolan's going to be a big brother this summer, so we had time to tell him about having a sibling. His daddy is taking over as the next chief resident when Daddy finishes up this summer, so we also got a chance to explain about the long hours his daddy would have at work.
Before Luke took his morning nap, we took a walk. We're all armed with sippy cups and snacks. Nolan had never used a Sit-N-Stand stroller, so we had to show him where to sit. He liked it, which is a good thing because his mommy bought one too. Madison wanted to walk most of the walk (that's what a walk is!), but the last quarter mile she chose to sit on the bench seat with Nolan.
While Luke was napping, we took time to hang out together. Mommy caught us taking a drink box break.
Then, the real fun began after we got out the play dough. We had so much fun playing outside, and luckily, it was a beautiful morning.
