Saturday evening we attended our company's Christmas Party. Each year, the party is held out at the terminal, which is the building where all of the instructors and students pack (and store) their parachutes. This building sits on the airstrip, and the guys can walk out the door and board their aircraft to go and jump. It's a perfect location for a big party, as it's a huge open room. The kids love it too and try out all of the equipment in the room. And, since this is the location where all services of the military learn how to combat skydive, there is some cool stuff here :)
Madison and her friend, Samantha, enjoyed playing on these. Designed similar to a skateboard, the students lie on their stomach and can practice their back arch for jumping out of the aircraft. The girls are in preschool together and will go to kindergarten together. Our families are good friends, and I'm glad Madison has a good friend here who will be in her school classes.
Alex didn't want to partake in the potluck everyone provided :) He opted for his bottle instead.
Luke's favorite part of the buffet wasn't my Texas Sheet Cake, nor my homemade macaroni, but this store bought sugar cookie :) Luke's shirt says, "Believe me...I'm NICE (with Naughty in the background).

Luke really wacked Frosty's head, and shortly after, Frosty came down.
Notice Madison is wacking at a stocking...Frosty came down so quickly, they had to hang another one.
The candy rush
Regrouped for the arrival of Santa!
Luke was getting pretty tired at this point and opted for a rest.
Madison's name got called early on in Santa's gift presentations.
She got a Mermaid Barbie from Santa, one of her requests.
Luke was totally sweating it out...he was one of the very last kids called. You could see the panic on his face, and at one point, it looked like he was going to cry. Santa brought him a Buzz Lightyear and a Woody action figure from his current movie favorite,
Toy Story.
It's a good thing Alex didn't know what was going on...he was the second to last kid called! He was worried his bad behavior during pregnancy would come back to haunt him. Santa was really good to him and brought him a Haba wooden toy.
This "My First Christmas" hat has been worn by all three kids. I'll have to find the pictures of the kids all in it.
