Mommy and Daddy at Clemson United Methodist Church. Mommy and Daddy met at college. They lived down the hall from each other. Since Mommy was from Ohio, and Daddy was from Tennessee, it seemed logical to have their wedding where they met. They were members of Clemson United Methodist and made many good friends there.
Mommy and Daddy's first house! They bought this house actually a month before they got married (May 2001) in Fort Lauderdale, FL where Daddy went to med school. They day they closed on their house was a big day as Mommy got her job in Florida too!

This was Mommy's school. It housed 2600 sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. Mommy taught 160+ eighth graders everyday.
Nova Southeastern-Daddy's Medical School
Daddy snapped this picture of Mommy while they were on their honeymoon in Hawaii.
Hurricanes Everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!Hurricane Francis did a lot of damage to the greater Fort Lauderdale area. This happened in 2004, and Daddy was away on rotations for school. Mommy was left to put up the hurricane shutters and evacuate. Sadly, this happened two times this hurricane season. No major damage was done to the house, but 24 trees in their subdivision came down in the first hurricane and another 12 more came down in the second hurricane (only a week and a half later!). It was a wild season!

After Mommy obtained her master's degree from Florida State, she worked as a children's librarian at this new library near their house in Florida.

Daddy graduated from medical school in May 2005. Madison was born the next week, so as you can see, Mommy was VERY pregnant. A 12 hour car ride to and from Florida was not at the top of her list.
Our house in NC before we moved in! They've done A LOT of work on it!Happy Anniversay, Mommy and Daddy! We love you!

Happy Anniversary! I am glad that you two were able to spend it together :)
Happy Anniversary guys! I can't believe how your lives have changed looking at the pictures.
Oh, how we remember the day you guys were married...after the wedding Lori and I followed Chris to what we thought would be the reception site. Boy, were we wrong. We ended up in another county. That's when Lori and I had to take over. She grabbed the map and I drove Nana's Lumina (what a boat!). We then found our way. We all learned a lesson that day - never follow Chris! And that Lori and I did learn something in college, maybe not in the classroom, but on the road from our many road trips! Anyway...Happy Anniversary!
Wow! Our dads must be related or maybe it is a residency thing. Mother's Day and my mom's birthday have passed and she is still waiting for something. She is still holding out hope for something for her and Daddy's anniversary. Hope you get your card! John
