by Madison and Luke
Mommy's college, roommate, Jenn, came to visit last week. Jenn and Mommy had such a good time together and wish they could see each other a little more (don't worry, they talk all the time on the phone!). Jenn is a history teacher outside of Baltimore, Maryland, so she just finished the school year. You'd think she wouldn't want to be around kids right away after teaching all year, but she loves us!
Our visit with Jenn started off in a not-so-good-way. Mommy, Jenn, and Luke went into town while Daddy was left to supervise Madison...an hour or so later, Mommy received a call from Daddy that Madison had cracked her head open on the nightstand and was going to Womack (the hospital) for staples. Mommy reminded Daddy she watches us all day, everyday and no problems...
So, Jenn got a tour of Womack, specifically, the ER Department. We would have been glad to show Jenn where Daddy works, but we didn't enjoy doing it as Madison got staples. Three staples later, we were on our way. Madison definitely didn't enjoy that. She was also really upset that she had blood all over her favorite Elmo shirt, but Mommy worked wonders and all of the blood came out! She said Oxi-Clean rocks!
I loved reading with Jenn. Since she doesn't have a cat of her own, I had to read my kitty book to her. She showe me pictures of her dog, George, and I'm still talking about him.
On to Wilmington...
Mommy and Jenn took us to Wilmington for a couple of days where we all hung out with Grandma and Grandpa. During the days, Mommy and Jenn were able to do some things on their own while we played with Grandma and Grandpa.

The first night we were there, a frog got into the house. Mommy and Jenn laughed so hard as Grandpa and Grandma tried to catch the frog and move it back outside.
The frog was stuck behind the bookcase about four feet off the ground.
Grandpa got it....but, then, it got back inside.
You can see we're not talking about a ferocious beast...the frog is that tiny thing in the middle of the floor.
Got it again! This time, they successfully moved it outside.
All of the activity was too much for Luke. He decided to snuggle up with Jenn.
Then, he took a turn snuggling up with Grandma.
After a break for a bottle, Luke stretched and went back to sleep.
Luke really liked Jenn. He snuggled up with her every chance he had.

How is this comfortable?
It was SO hot while we were there. The pool was a must, even with three staples in my head.

Luke enjoyed his day. He's glad Mommy brought his swing.

Enjoying a drink box break

This is Uncle Clay's tractor, so it's 25 years old! Because it's a Little Tikes product, it still looks to be in great condition. On Tuesday (in the morning), Mommy is taking us to Wilmington again to see everyone. Uncle Clay and Aunt Karen are visiting, and Aut Mer and Uncle Harry are already there. Because of Daddy's bad schedule, he can't go. We'll have more pictures from Wilmington soon.
