Mommy and Daddy were shocked...no crying kids (see last year's post for the scream session pictures). However, as you can tell, Madison was not too thrilled with sitting on Santa's lap. In usual Luke fashion, he loved every minute of it.Madison did manage to tell Santa what she wanted for Christmas: a bike, a kitchen, and a baby doll. She also made sure to speak for Luke. She's very concerned he won't get something and always asks, "Can Lukie get a toy?" when you ask her what she wants for Christmas. Apparently, Luke wants a truck and a boat.
This was not the first encounter with Santa this year. On Sunday after church, we were all out to eat, and a unit from Fort Bragg was having their Christmas party at the restaurant. Well, Santa was there to see the soldiers and their families. Madison proceeded to stand up in the booth and yell across the room, "A bike, a kitchen!"
Then, tonight, Madison decided that we needed to make a cake for Daddy's birthday (Christmas Eve), Jesus's birthday, and now one for Santa to eat. Since Mommy personally knows Santa, she thinks this would be a fantastic idea!
We'll see if the big guy can come through this Christmas.
