With the weather as hot as it is, the only really enjoyable thing to do outside is to hang out at the pool. Our post is so small that it's nearly impossible to go to the pool without seeing people there you know, which is actually really nice. We ventured out to the pool late this afternoon after we got home from church and lunch.

And, today, we ran into several friends. I spent most of my time talking with Sara.

Nope, she's not mine...still pregnant :) Sara's daughter, Gabriella, thought the water was a little cold, plus she was tired. And, Sara, and her husband had two boys to keep up with in the pool. Gabriella curled up with me and fell asleep for awhile. Luke enjoyed hanging out with us. I had planned on taking most of the pictures myself, but as you can see, I had my hands full...oh darn, I had to hold a cute baby :)

Madison is getting very independent in the water, which we are so excited. She's really ready for swim lessons, which will start in another couple of weeks.

Her noodle was her latest purchase, and she's been putting it to good use. With it, she feels a lot more secure in the water, but in reality, she's doing a lot of the work on her own.

She has even started swimming small segments on her own underwater. We're very proud of her progress, especially since she was afraid of the water when we first moved here.

That looks awesome! Just think, a few short weeks and you can hold your own cute baby at the pool. Tell Madison Uncle Harry and Aunt Mer are proud of her swimming! Miss and love you guys!
Madison is looking good in the pool. Ava loves the water too! She swims under the water now and can swim to the edge. We will start lessons soon as well. That's one of our past times here in the hot weather, the pool too!
