Today is Alex's five-month birthday. He's a super baby with a great personality. He loves to smile and is generally very happy. He's a wonderful sleeper, sleeping 12-13 hours at night without getting up and a great napper too.
Alex is still taking Nestle Good Start formula, seven ounces at a time. He's started eating food. So far, he's had rice cereal, peas, and sweet potatoes, and squash. He's getting the hang of eating, but no favorites so far.
Alex entertains himself in the doorway jumper. He also loves his Exersaucer.
Sizewise, he doesn't have a checkup this month, but he's over 18 lbs. I just installed his bigger carseat yesterday, as his feet were hanging off the end of his infant one. He's wearing some 6-9 clothing, but also a lot of 12 month clothing. He has big feet, as now that it's cooling off to wear socks, he's wearing 12-24 month socks.
He doesn't have any teeth yet, but he's about to cut one. The tooth is really swollen in his mouth, and you can now feel it there. No telling on how long before it is actually through the gums, but it's definitely annoying him.
