Vegas

After two days in Death Valley, we began our trip back home. We drove two hours to Las Vegas, where we did some basic shopping, stayed overnight, and then drove another five to six hours home. While in Vegas, we didn't do anything wild and crazy...in fact, we sought out a hotel that was nice and quiet with an indoor pool. We stayed a block off the strip at the Embassy Suites, where the kids loved the high rise hotel. We enjoyed the much cooler weather, with temps today in the 50's and 60's. This morning, we drove the strip and saw the "interesting" sights.

We were so glad to have some culture with the Eiffel Tower :)

This was Madison's favorite hotel. She called it the "Castle Hotel," declaring princesses stayed there.

Edward and I are both glad we don't live in or around Vegas. It's not the city for us. We did learn that 6,000 people a month move there. And, if you are interested in a good deal, now is the time to buy property there, as foreclosures are sky high.
