A Family Birthday Party for Luke

Luke turned three on Wed., April 7. Aunt Mer, Aunt Karen, and Baby Wes were able to celebrate with us. We had a nice dinner of stuffed shells, a.k.a. "Mommy's Ravioli." Luke was just beside himself that we were throwing him a birthday party. He is too young to remember last year's birthday, so this was just all new to him. He was in love with his balloon. Hey, he's easy to please :)

Ready for dinner at our sports' themed party

Baseball cake

Wes loved his dinner. It looks like he had either peas or green beans.

Alex enjoyed his food too. He had all sorts of things.

Luke was VERY excited to get new shoes for preschool from Nana. Seriously, the kid loves shoes.

Wes enjoyed his first kid birthday party.

Another big hit-a Buzz Lightyear sprinkler to play in from his cousins, Mackenzie and Kaitlann.

A pirate towel from Aunt Mer and Uncle Harry!
A Buzz costume from Aunt Karen, Baby Wes, and Uncle Clay

Buzz Pj's from Mommy and Daddy

Buzz car from Mommy and Daddy

A HUGE tiger (to support the Clemson Tigers!) playtent from Grandma and Grandpa-Note the tent is currently setup in the kids' playroom and takes up the whole area.

This thing turned out to be a bigger hit than I could have ever imagined. It's a walking, roaring dino named Kota. Luke LOVES this thing, and I wasn't sure it would go over that well :)

Thanks for all the wondeful gifts our family sent to Luke. He had a wonderful birthday, and it was really special to share it with Mer, Karen, and Wes.
