Madison is old enough to play t-ball, and the skills' assessment took place Tuesday evening. She seemed to really enjoy it, and she did fine. Here, t-ball is for five and six-year-olds, but she and a couple of other kids are able to play since their birthdays are all coming up. Here's to years of softball. I loved playing it and hope she does too.
Wes was really interested in t-ball.
Alex was more interested in his feet.
Running the bases-this was so cute. Most of the kids did the same thing...they ran to first base, and as they rounded the corner for second, they stayed along the grass line, which is not where second base is. It was so cute to see them running on the outfield line, as one of the coaches guided them to second. After that, they pretty much all got to third okay, and home plate was no problem.
Luke was REALLY bummed he couldn't play yet.
