We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We had a really nice weekend celebrating Jesus's resurrection. We missed Daddy terribly, but we had a few distractions to keep us content.

We awoke Saturday morning to a visit from Aunt Mer and Uncle Harry. It was so good to see them. They hadn't been to our house since last summer, and we were really glad to have someone besides Mommy to play with around the house.

Pigtails for the day

Luke had to practice his walking

and his talking

Mommy and Aunt Mer look alike, especially when they are wearing the same colors-Mommy

Aunt Mer-Apparently, the Easter Bunny brought Easter baskets to Aunt Mer and Uncle Harry's house a little early.

Luke is very ticklish.

Luke really enjoyed being around Uncle Harry. We think it's a guy thing.

Saturday afternoon at the park

Madison loves to hang from the bars

She's obsessed with walking lines too.

Madison enjoyed hanging out with Uncle Harry too.

When we got home, Mommy was planning to cut the grass, but Uncle Harry volunteered when he saw he could use the riding lawn mower.

Aunt Mer and Madison had a lot of fun playing.

Aunt Mer enjoyed playing with Luke too.

The evening was topped off with a small party for Uncle Harry. Happy Birthday Uncle Harry and Aunt Jennifer! It's cool to have an uncle and an aunt share a birthday. Aunt Jennifer, maybe we'll get to see you on your birthday next year!

We didn't have 28 candles for Uncle Harry, but we did have a #2 candle and 14 other candles, so we used the #2 candle as a multiplier.
Come on, already, we want cake!

Simply delicious

I finally got my own piece of cake...too wonderful for words

Now, bedtime
