We had to wear warmer clothing for church than we had originally planned. The high was 50, and it was really cold as we got ready for church.
I really like being close to Mommy.
This was really the first year we got into the spirit of the Easter egg hunt. Last year, Luke was born on Easter weekend, so we didn't have much of an Easter. So, Madison enjoyed her third Easter, and Luke enjoyed his second one.
We got a lot of neat things in our Easter baskets. Our posting of our love about bulldozers must have paid off! The Easter Bunny brought one for each of us.
Random chaos, nothing new here
Aunt Mer and Uncle Harry got me a stuffed kitty. I named her Lil' Phoebe in honor of their black cat, Phoebe.
Luke and I each got a new DVD, so I decided to help Mommy out by putting them away.
Egg hunt
The Easter Bunny brought along another great surprise. Aunt Karen and Uncle Clay came for a visit. The timing worked out great, as they are in Raleigh this weekend house hunting. Uncle Clay's last day in the Army is his birthday, April 2 (not planned), and he got a new job in Raleigh. So, Aunt Karen is actually staying with Grandma and Grandpa right now while she looks for a job. Uncle Clay is flying back to New York to finish out work. It was their first Easter together in the three years they've been married, and we're so happy they got to spend it with us. We're sad though, that now all of Mommy's family is going to be living in North Carolina, we're moving to Arizona. Congratulations on your new house in Holly Springs, Aunt Karen and Uncle Clay...now, you'll only live five minutes from our good pals Cassie and Julianne!

Luke was not popular with Mommy after this...while he might have thought eggs were hidden on the doormat, that didn't mean he was supposed to rip the bamboo off the mat. If you look closely, you can see the strip he ripped off.

After church, we had a nice meal. Mommy made a turkey and a ham. We enjoyed it with Grandma, Grandpa (they drove over after their church service), Aunt Mer, Uncle Harry, Aunt Karen, Uncle Clay, and Mommy. We REALLY missed Daddy.
Oh, and we can't forget Lucy the dog came too. She's Aunt Karen and Uncle Clay's lab. She is staying with Grandma and Grandpa right now while Aunt Karen and Uncle Clay are trying to get moved from New York. Luke REALLY enjoyed Lucy.
Easter might be over, but signs of Spring are everywhere.

Looks like you had a great Easter! I was really upset with your daddy when he came to my house for the second time without you! I hope to see you sometime soon. Thanks for the puppies!
