Tennessee

We're about 460 miles into our move. Last night, we stayed with my sister and her husband in Charlotte. Today, we are stopped for the day, staying at Edward's parents' house outside of Knoxville. We've had heavy traffic, but otherwise, the drive has been okay. We have had a "girls' car" and a "boys' car" the last two days, and now that we are in Knoxville, we'll leave Edward's car for the autotransport to pickup the beginning of the week (we couldn't do the autotransport from NC because they pickup on a window of days, and we weren't that flexible). The kids are already tired of being in the car, but hopefully visiting family the last couple of days will keep them plugging along. The cats have been real troopers, sleeping the whole way.

Tomorrow, we get to see more family, as we're stopping to have lunch with Edward's cousin, Burt, and his family in Nashville, TN. Burt and Edward went to medical school together, and Burt just got stationed at Ft. Campbell as a family practice physician. We're meeting at the park so all four of our kids have time to be outside.

This might be the last of our Internet access until we get setup in Yuma. If so, we'll have plenty of pictures to share.
