Kalea and I had a blast in the bounce house. Luke enjoyed watching from the safety of his stroller.
Then, Wednesday was Uncle Clay's birthday, and he celebrated it by working his last day in the Army and then driving from Fort Drum to North Carolina. He and Aunt Karen will be living in Raleigh soon after they close on their house. They are staying with Grandma and Grandpa right now.
Today, we called up Grandma and Grandpa and met them for lunch, as it was Grandma's birthday. We had a nice lunch at Cracker Barrel in Lumberton, about 30 minutes away for us. Grandma and Grandpa brought us some of the birthday cake Grandma made for Uncle Clay (and well, for herself too). So, we brought it home, and we had a mini party with just the three of us. The cake, and ice cream we added, were delicious!

Now, we have a small break from birthdays this weekend, and then Luke has his big day on Monday.
