A Visit with Mack and Kait

by Madison and Luke

Over the weekend, we had the opportunity to visit our cousins, Mackenzie and Kaitlann at their house in Tifton, Georgia. Aside from Madison's trip to the ER, we had a great time and took a lot of pictures! We're really going to miss our cousins when we move and hated this trip had to kind of be our good-bye trip before we leave.
On the trip down, we stopped for dinner at our favorite traveling location, Cracker Barrel.
It looks like Luke is for sale for $74.99!

We love each other so much!

We thought this was a great picture.
How is this picture for just off the Interstate??

The next morning, we had to play outside before we even got our clothes on. Kids are so funny in what think is necessary for play.

This toy was the highlight of the day!

Luke is working on enjoying slides. He's always been a little scared of them.

Girls will be girls.

Luke really wanted drive this car...if only his legs were a little longer.

Kaitlann doesn't seem to care that this is not meant to stand on.

This swingset toy is much more fun with two.

Off to the Agrirama!

We're in the parking lot, so we are supposed to hold hands.

Sweet cousins

Being the only boy with all of these girls gets a little tough. I'm glad to have my own space.

Kaitlann enjoyed hanging out with her uncle and aunt this weekend. Man, when you're hot, it helps to have someone hold you for awhile.

The madness

The brothers...

It's hard to get a picture of Aunt Erika and Uncle Jason because, like Mommy and Daddy, they spend a lot of their time chasing kids.

The best part of the Agrirama-TRAIN RIDE!

A hot and very tired, Kaitlann

Luke absolutely LOVED the train ride. He took the opportunity to wave at everyone, a new skill of his.

Train ride + Princess snacks=a great afternoon

Some of the girls

A hot and tired (though she wouldn't admit it), Madison

More enjoyment of the train

Mackenzie loves trains, but she doesn't like the noise

View from the train

Madison LOVED her train ride, too.

She didn't want to leave the train, until we mentioned ice cream...

Girl talk and ice cream-priceless

We were impressed Kaitlann got a cone, that is until she bit the bottom of the cone and ended up with a cup just like the other girls.

Luke had enough of girl time, so outside he went.

Guy time with Uncle Jason

To the pool...After the Agrirama, Kaitlann and Luke took a nap, so Mackenzie and I enjoyed the pool.

Then, THE ACCIDENT-STITCHES AGAIN!

The next morning before church...the adults said a group shot couldn't be done, but we proved them wrong!

After the group shot, we went to Uncle Jason's church (he's the pastor). There, Madison decided she loved his church because in Sunday School, the teacher served M & M's and Goldfish crackers-BIG HITS for a kid with stitches.

Thanks for a wonderful time, Aunt Erika, Uncle Jason, Mackenzie, and Kaitlann. We'll have to do it again, minus the stitches.
