Big Boy Luke

For the past two nights, we've been able to get Luke to sleep in his new big boy, twin bed. We've also been reorganizing over the last month or so, and as soon as he is totally transitioned, he and Madison will be sharing a room. We have four bedrooms, but since we live thousands of miles from most family, we decided to keep our fourth bedroom as our office/guestroom. The nursery, while stripped down now, won't stay that way forever.

There it is...the room divided. So far, the kids really like sharing their room. I'm just trying to cut down on the number of stuffed animals we seem to have!

Luke's side...his bed matches Madison's bed. When we bought her bed two years ago, we went ahead and bought two headboards and two footboards.

One really nice thing about this house is the size of the bedrooms. They are large, especially the kids' bedroom. Madison already had a full walk-in closet, so she had plenty of room to share with Luke.

The split room looks really nice. I hope they can share. :-)

I think there is something invaluable about kids sharing rooms. SO many things. we saw it with sarala and jackson, and i was super sad to split them up. already we see it with jackson and sam even with him only being 9 mths old. the rock and bang on the cribs together every night and playing.

it's cute how you split it up and did the curtains and everything. I don't know that i would've thought of that. that's really fun.
